Whether you are a City Manager, a professional in the fields of Public Works, Planning, Business Development, or interested in the downtown revitalization efforts of one of the largest cities in the Country, the tour of the Downtown Las Vegas will provide an eye opening experience into how government can create, develop, and inspire the community. From creating boundaries for districts to removing boundaries for transportation, this tour will led by one of Redevelopment Authorities Senior Economic Officer will demonstrate best practices for revitalization efforts.

The Downtown Redevelopment Area contains Henderson’s most mature neighborhoods, including the Water Street District. Formed in 1995 to revitalize and attract new investment to the area, the Redevelopment Agency has made great strides in seeing these goals come to fruition. Through public/private partnerships, commercial and residential loan and grant programs, public art, a new events plaza and infrastructure improvements, the City of Henderson, through its Redevelopment Agency, is effecting a dramatic change.
