The 2012 TLG Conference will be held in downtown Kansas City, MO.  Kansas City is known as a convention destination where friendly people, affordable prices and a central location are a given.

Attendees may call the Westin's Central Reservation phone number: 888-627-8538 to make reservations by phone.  Please tell reservation agents you will be attending the 2012 Transforming Local Government Conference so their room is placed in the group block at the group rate.

The cut-off date for reserving rooms in the Room Block is 5:00 p.m. central time on March 19, 2012.  After the cut-off date, it is at the hotel’s discretion whether to accept additional reservations, which will be subject to prevailing rates and availability.

Transportation

 

Out of state conference attendees traveling by air will fly to Kansas City International airport which has non-stop destinations from most international airports in the US.   The Westin is approximately 30 minutes from the airport.  You can find affordable ground transportation here with Super Shuttle by entering group code BGQVQ for discount pricing.
