The conference is hosted by a unique partnership of Southern Nevada cities and counties. The region is known throughout the world as an expert on conferences, and our gracious hosts intend to prove why!
Clark County: Clark County is currently the nation’s leader for growth with a booming population of 2 million. The county has a high quality of life afforded by its low tax rate, strong business climate, great weather, friendly people and a large selection of recreational venues.
City of Henderson: Just minutes from the City of Las Vegas and a few miles from the serenity of Mount Charleston, the City of Henderson offers an oasis retreat in the middle of the Mojave Desert. As a premier residential community, Henderson offers both residents and visitors alike an abundance of cultural events, special attractions, miles of trails and open spaces, and outstanding recreational facilities as well as renowned resorts, restaurants and shopping.
City of Las Vegas: Most know the City of Las Vegas as the entertainment capital of the world. But, many in local government also know the city for its high number of awards received for outstanding government performance. At TLG, attendees will have the opportunity to tour some of these award winning programs, as well as from the other host communities. Get a first eye look at what makes the City of Las Vegas and the region of Southern Nevada a premier learning ground.
City of North Las Vegas: Located at the northern tip of the Las Vegas Valley, North Las Vegas is one of Nevada’s fastest growing cities. North Las Vegas is characterized by its friendly atmosphere, development opportunities, civic pride and responsive government. The 98.44 square-mile city is surrounded by majestic mountains, desert valleys and an underlying current of dynamic growth.
Nye County: Nye is the largest county in Nevada and is the third largest county in the continental United States with a combined total area larger than Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, and Delaware combined. With 92% of the land owned by the federal government, the county features several environmentally sensitive areas including Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, the White River Valley, several Great Basin Sky Islands and a portion of Death Valley National Park. The county has no incorporated cities, with the seat of government in Tonopah 160 miles from Pahrump, where about 86 percent of the county's population resides.
Town of Pahrump: Pahrump is one of the fastest growing towns in Nevada and the United States. It is growing at an annual rate of approximately 4%. The Pahrump Valley offers a country-like atmosphere with clean fresh air, plenty of good water and friendly people who are glad to call you neighbor. The town has low taxes, no personal or corporate taxes, affordable housing and an easy-flowing lifestyle. Framed by picturesque Mt. Charleston, the Spring Mountains to the east, and the Nopah Vista Mountains to the west is a sight to behold.
